“You have won $50,000 in a lottery draw” the next minute,”Sir your new business ran into losses, we have to clear up our debts of $30,000 soon and do some changes to keep the business going, it would come up to at least $45,000″
In this case would you be happy that you at least got the $50,000 to help you out and that you would at least have $5,000 to spend or save OR would you be really unhappy that you were so unlucky to have a loss in business and that your $50,000 had to be spent and that you can’t have the whole lottery money to save?
In life, we all have times when we all get good news and bad news. In school, we would get good news when we pass our test, or if we are the first in class, or if we won some competition.
These are all good news and we would feel very happy and definitely proud of ourselves. But in school we do also get bad news, for example, failing in tests, scholarship application was rejected, you didn’t get chosen as president of your club and more. We would definitely feel sad, not to say sometimes even crestfallen. Its not only when you are schooling but when you are in your various stages of life, you have your ups and downs.
We all have our ups and downs but does that mean that our whole life should be sad that we have so many failures and negative news? Does that mean you have to be depressed. If that’s the case, the whole world would be suffering from depression right now.
Instead, why not see things in a better perspective, don’t let the negative news make you falter. We all have our times. If we meet any difficulty, try working out a solution, try to see it in a different light, maybe it would help you. Why do we need to spend our quality time of our life worrying? Did you know that the more you worry, the lesser number of years you live? We can choose not to be faltered by these negative news, and carry on living our life. We can use these negative news and gain experience, instead of worrying we can learn to be stronger.
