You have read so many online articles, and you have tried but you still can’t get yourself to gain that self esteem you wish you had, or your friend has. It might seem difficult and impossible, but believing is living. What hinders you from gaining that self esteem is your own belief, your own mindset.
Firstly to gain self esteem, you should learn to see things in a different perspective. Not everyone thinks lowly of you and not everyone dislikes you. Not everything you do turns bad, and not all mistakes you make are bad. Everyone is imperfect, you are, you cannot change the fact that no matter what you do, sometimes mistakes do happen. Instead view these mistakes as learning opportunities.
It may come handy in the future. Gaining Self Esteem, you have to learn to accept the fact that there are people out in the world who will critic and put you down, but instead of wallowing in despair, you have to and you can show the world that you can achieve. Set goals and targets that you can achieve, once achieved you will have a sense of satisfaction and this would make you see yourself as capable. There you have gained a little self esteem.
Take pride in what you do, and what you contribute. Take pride in your ideas and in your work, afterall its what you have done, its what you have accomplished. Don’t be afraid to show them or voice them out. You have a right to do so. There’s no use being intimidated by others. Most of all, try to destress, hang out with friends, make new friends, talk to others, when you are unhappy just talk it out and try to excersise. This would help you to feel much more happy, and not burdened. Its healthier for your mind too! Just remember try to have fun.
