How do we use our subconscious mind? Firstly to use your subconscious mind, you first have to know the basic functions and the system itself. Then we can stimulate our mind through this system known as the Reticular Activating System(RAS). This function of RAS can be simple and profound.
“It determines what you will notice and what you will pay attention to. It is the screening mechanism of your mind. Remember that your conscious mind can focus only on a limited number of elements at any one time. So your brain uses a lot of effort deciding what not to pay attention to. There are countless stimuli comes to your brain. But your brain deletes most of it and focuses on what you believe is important.

This is the mechanism to achieve your goal. This is RAS. And RAS is directly responsible for how much of reality you consciously experience. We can make use of RAS for our benefit by having the right focus. Once you have right focus, RAS will select us to see the things that are related to it. This will open up our opportunity to be closer to our goals. To have the right focus, we will need to stimulate our brain with what we want. We can use visualization technique. The technique is to see yourself in the way you want to be. See yourself as you have achieved your goals in front of your eyes. What you will feel if you get the goals you want? See the expression on your face in your visualization. Get the same feeling as if it is actually happening.”

As you know your conscious and subconscious minds work together, they form a team. The former handles tasks which then assigns them to the latter, which then sends feedbacks in forms of emotions back to the former. By learning how to make the best use of this cooperation, you can improve your skills and have much better control over your emotions.
